Application packets are available in the College/Career Center or registrar on line at . You will need Provo High School’s Code 450-325. Late registration is until October 6^th, but requires an additional fee. Seniors, October is your last opportunity to take the ACT and be sure the scores will be back in time for college scholarship applications. (December will be a maybe.) Other ACT test dates are: Register by: December 9, 2006 November 3, 2006 February 10, 2007 January 5, 2007 April 14, 2007 March 9, 2007 Sept 29 SAT - Deadline to register for October 14^th SAT test. Register at . You’ll want to take this college entrance test if you’re thinking about going to college in the east or if you are a National Merit semifinalist. Next SAT will be Nov 4 with registration by Sept 29. Sept 29 College Tour - representatives from Utah Colleges and Universities will be at PHS from 9:00 to 11:30 am. All Seniors will be excused from classes to meet in the auditorium for a financial aid session; then break out to visit with three different schools. Decide which schools will be of the most interest to you. (Attendance will be taken at the College Tour) This your opportunity to learn what the schools have to offer and what they expect from you. It will be a great time to network with the decision makers! The Student Guide booklet you will be given at the tour has the answers to most of your college questions. Oct 3 Leadership Conference at UVSC McKay Events Center 8:45 am -1:00 pm - The 7^th Annual Leadership Conference for High School student leaders from all over Utah. The past five years have been fantastic. This years topic is “The Power to Influence”. Keynote speakers are Dr Stephen R Covey and Dr Margaret Wheatley. Also break-out speakers ranging from world-class consultants, trainers, and faculty to athletes, executives, and students. Sign up to go in the College/Career Center. Bus will load at PHS at 8:00 am and return by 2:00 pm. Oct 21 College Fair - Saturday 1:00 to 4:00 pm. College and University Admissions Representatives from all over the USA will be at Juan Diego Catholic High School, 11800 South 300 East, Draper. If you are thinking of going out of state for school this will be well worth your time.
